If possible avoid walking on damp carpet. If this is not advisable on it with the use of slippers or sandals, but you may walk on the carpet with clean white socks. If you must go in and out over the damp carpet, wipe the sole of your shoes with a wet cloth each time before walking on carpet since dirt will track off on damp carpet easily.

Be VERY CAREFUL walking onto a hard surface (tile, vinyl or wood) after stepping over damp carpet can be slippery!

Drying time varies depending on the thickness of pile and fibers, the weather conditions and the air circulation in your home. The normal drying time is between 4 to 8 hours for your carpet to completely dry.

Adjust thermostat to 72 degrees, or more appropriate with open windows.

Turn off humidifiers on furnace.

Turn your thermostat fan control setting to “On.”

Turn on all ceiling fans (make sure air blows down.)

Turn on dehumidifier or air conditioning

Run floor fans over carpet.

If you need the refrigerator freezer to be cleaned you need cut the power supply before we arrives. (to enable frozen ice to melt.) This will allow us to thoroughly clean the edge.
